Daniel Jenatsch

Daniel Jenatsch is an award-winning composer and artist living and working in Melbourne, Australia. Daniel Jenatsch's work combines hyper-detailed soundscapes, music, text and video to create multimedia documentaries, video game installations, radio pieces and performances. In 2021, Daniel won the John Fries Award for his work The Close World, which combined artificial intelligence and animatronics to create an immersive installation at UNSW Galleries. An accomplished composer and sound artist, Daniel has worked with artists such as Matthew Barney, Jonathan Bepler, Arto Lindsay, KimSooja, Claire Lambe, Lucy Guerin, Atlanta Eke, Amrita Hepi, Gabriella Mangano and Silvana Mangano and many others as a collaborator on award-winning films, performances, installations and video games. Daniel is currently a PhD candidate at RMIT's School of Design.
