Elizabeth Stirratt explores natural and social histories through photographs, books, paintings, objects, and films, creating multi-layered narratives about the interactions between humans and nature. She is director emerita of the Grunwald Gallery of Art at Indiana University Bloomington, and has exhibited her own work since 1983.

From 1.12.2024 - 14.01.2024 works by Stirrat are on display at NOEDOK St.Pölten."In examining plant, animal, and human specimens, I try to draw out the connections between the urge to collect, scientific discovery, and the natural processes of growth and decay." Elizabeth Stirratt
