Florentin Ginot
French musician Florentin Ginot, who is currently solo double bassist with Ensemble Musikfabrik in Cologne, enjoys working on interdisciplinary projects in order to further develop his skills and achieve new forms of expression. He would like to use the one-month residency in Krems primarily for research in order to develop new musical instrumentation for the solo format, especially with regard to the expansion of traditional double bass playing to electronic media. The creation of new sound material will be directly reflected in his compositional work.
