France Jobin

France Jobin is a Montreal-based sound and installation artist and film composer. Her audio art can be described as "sound sculpture" and reveals a minimalist approach to complex sound environments where analog and digital intersect. Her installations contain both musical and visual elements inspired by the architecture of physical spaces. Her work can be experienced internationally in a variety of unconventional spaces and at festivals for new technologies. In Krems, she will give a performance on Ernst Krenek's Buchla synthesizer on March 27, 2024 at 5 pm in Salon Krenek after an artist talk by and with David Komary.
